About

Natalia Angulo-Hinkson

Natalia Angulo-Hinkson is an Emmy-nominated journalist, currently covering business news for Circa. She is a native of Houston, although at 5’1’’ she disproves the theory that everything is bigger in Texas. Before moving to the nation’s capital, she worked as a business editor in New York City. ("No mere city," as Joan Didion would say.)

She is most energized covering stories about social entrepreneurs, innovators and startups. Natalia always has her eye on the tech, retail and music industries, and has reported on beauty, travel and pop culture as well. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French.

Some of her fondest — slash scariest — journalism memories involve her intern days at glossy fashion mags. But hands down the most exciting part about her work is traveling and hearing people’s stories.

Natalia is photo obsessive — and a big fan of the em dash. The proud Colombian has a B.A. in Politics from the University of Dallas and an M.A. in Journalism from New York University. Natalia joined Circa from Industry Dive, and prior to that FOX Business. But marrying a corn farmer from Nebraska was her smartest move.

You can find some of her work on Circa.com, MarketingDive.com, FOXBusiness.com, FoxNews.com, TeenVogue.com, BusinessInsider.com, MarieClaire.com and El Diario/La Prensa NY.
